During this week, Fundação da Juventude, INCO Academy and Google.org made official the launch of a professional certification course, and the event was reported in several national media. 

With great honour, we announce that we are the only civil society partner institution in the Youth area in Portugal. Through this project, we will train more than two hundred young people in the area of information technologies and promote the employability of people in situations of exclusion and vulnerability.

As previously mentioned, the INCO Academy aims to train young people to perform support and troubleshooting tasks related to information technologies. As reported in Público, "Google.org will allocate more than 200 certificates that will be distributed by Fundação da Juventude". Dinheiro Vivo adds that "the courses are online, have a duration of 120 hours and are in technological areas" and gender equality is a highly valued point, as "50% (of participants) will be women". Finally, it should be mentioned that the Expresso stressed the important social contribution of this initiative that "is part of an effort to promote social inclusion and digital literacy in Portugal".
