Promotion of entrepreneurship and creativity

In 2018, the Fundação da Juventude organised for the first time the Young Creators Contest, a programme under the responsibility of the Portuguese Institute for Sports and Youth.

This competition, would culminate in the National Exhibition of Young Creators, at Nova SBE on February 21-23.

There were 79 projects from 97 young creators in the areas of Architecture, Fine Arts, Comics and Illustration, Cinema, Dance, Equipment Design, Graphic Design, Photography, Jewellery Making, Literature, Fashion, Music and Theatre.

The official inauguration of the Young Creators National Exhibition took place on 22nd February at 7 p.m. and was attended by the State Secretary for Youth and Sport, João Paulo Rebelo.

This initiative had the support of the Portuguese Republic and the Portuguese Institute for Sports and Youth (IPDJ) and partnership with Cascais 2018 - European Capital of Youth, CPAI - Portuguese Club of Arts and Ideas and CNJ - National Youth Council.
