This was a very exciting week for Fundação da Juventude and for the young scientists and teachers involved in the projects!

As part of the National Contest for Young Scientists, the young scientists awarded in the Show participated in the Virtual Forum "Step into the Future" 2021 in Moscow, Russia, with two projects in different areas.

Yesterday, April 22nd, the ATMOS project by Sara, Klára and João, from Colégio Luso-Francês do Porto and supervised by Professor Rita Rocha, won the 1st prize in the area of Natural Sciences in the Russian event.

Today, the second project "Development of an Integrated System for Detection and Warning of Ionizing Radiation" by Rita, Hugo Costa and Hugo Remelgado from D. Maria II School Grouping in Braga and oriented by Professor Júlio Bigas, won the 3rd prize in the Engineering area during the Virtual Forum "Step into the Future" 2021 in Moscow, Russia.
